Our Project Goals

Renovations, Remodeling, & Upgrades

This section covers rooms and spaces that already exist in your home. Rooms are organized into three categories:

  • Living Spaces — bedrooms, family rooms, dens, offices, porches, etc.
  • Plumbing Spaces — kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, wet bars
  • Storage Spaces — closets, pantries, mudrooms, garages
  • Click on a category to expand it, then click "Add" next to each room you want to improve. For each room, you'll choose:

  • Floor Level — which floor of your home the room is on
  • Renovation Intensity — how much work: full gut, good update, or surface-level refresh
  • Size Change — keeping the same footprint, going smaller, or expanding into adjacent space
  • Finish Quality — bargain, good, or superior materials and finishes
  • Custom Built-ins — whether you want built-in cabinetry or shelving (living & storage rooms only)
  • General Upgrades (at the bottom) covers standalone items like doors, windows, roofing, HVAC, and structural wall removals — work that isn't tied to a specific room renovation.

    Additions & New-Builds

This section covers brand-new rooms and spaces that don't exist in your home yet — additions built onto or above your existing structure. Same three categories:

  • Living Spaces — bedrooms, family rooms, dens, offices, porches, dormers, etc.
  • Plumbing Spaces — kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, wet bars
  • Storage Spaces — closets, pantries, mudrooms, garages
  • Click on a category to expand it, then click "Add" next to each new room you want to build. For each room, you'll choose:

  • Floor Level — which floor the new room will be on. Scopify automatically determines whether the room needs new foundation (basement or 1st floor) or sits above existing structure (2nd floor or attic).
  • Preferred Size — compact, average, or gracious
  • Finish Quality — bargain, good, or superior materials and finishes
  • Custom Built-ins — whether you want built-in cabinetry or shelving (living & storage rooms only)
